Educational Consulting is an independent education and careers advisory
service based in Oxford, with both national (UK) and international
connections. We are a group of experienced and successful educators
with broad experience of education and careers.
In the UK we offer our particular expertise in
the Primary/preparatory, secondary, further and higher education sectors
to advise on educational and career opportunities. We also provide
a similar service to those who wish to study overseas, especially
in Europe or North America.
We were established in 1988 and our team of Senior
Consultants has been selected to provide a specialised knowledge
of particular educational sectors from the viewpoint of senior management
experience, at Headmaster or Principal level.
David Watson MA (Oxon) Dip LS
Director & Senior Consultant - UK/Oxbridge
David began his career in electronic and communications
engineering which led to a Senior Studentship at Christ Church College,
Oxford and a second career in education and training. He has been
the founding Principal of three independent colleges and was Principal
of Wolsey Hall School of Law and Davies's College in London. His
specialist areas include Independent Preparatory and Secondary Schools
and University Entrance.
Paul Beresford-Hill MBE D.Ed (Columbia) MA M.Sc (Oxon)
Senior Consultant - UK/North America and Canada
Paul has enjoyed a dual career as an academic
and a businessman and has made a distinguished contribution to educational
and cultural relations between Britain and America. He was founding
Principal of the Anglo-American School in New York and has been
Chairman of various international charities. He has consulted on
educational and careers issues with a large number of UK and US
based institutions and corporations.
John E Parkes MA (Oxon)
Senior Consultant - UK/Europe
John, a linguist and international educator, was
founding Headmaster of the International School of London and has
been Chairman of the European Council of International Schools.
He has also enjoyed a successful background in business, most recently
as a Director of a major educational publishing company. He speaks
several European languages and can offer a sound knowledge of educational
opportunities within continental Europe.
