Module 2 - Standard Family Programme

NEEDS - Suitable for children with more complex educational needs

SECTORS - Both State and Independent

LEVELS - We are able to provide specialised expertise and experience to conduct school searches from Pre-school, through Primary / Secondary and 6th Form.

SINGLE AREAS - All levels of service cover a SINGLE AREA of search only. This could be city or county based and includes schools within the "travel-to-school area".

MULTIPLE AREAS - Multiple Area Searches - Larger search areas can be covered by taking the next higher level of service or a supplementary fee.

ONE CHILD - All levels of service cover a SINGLE CHILD only. For a second or subsequent child going to the same school, there will be no additional fee.

ADDITIONAL CHILDREN - Where the second or subsequent child is going to a different school in the same geographical area then a supplementary fee may be applied.

HOME VISIT - The Assignee may wish to meet the consultant at our offices in Oxford.

SCHOOL VISITS - We can arrange a Schedule of School Visits (Unaccompanied)

ACCOMPANIED SCHOOL VISITS - We can arrange a Schedule of Accompanied School Visits (at additional cost)

INITIAL CONSULTATION - Telephone Consultation. The Assignee may also wish to come to our offices in Oxford

DOCUMENTATION - Questionnaire + School Reports

APPRAISAL - Intermediate Appraisal based upon the results of the telephone consultation + analysis of the questionnaire & school reports.

REPORT - The assignee will be provided with a comprehensive SCHOOL SEARCH REPORT detailing schools that meet their requirements. The report also contains sources of additional educational information in the new location depending upon the types of schools selected. These sources include information on the National or other Curriculum, Appeal procedures, etc.

DETAIL - Select listings are given of potential schools (independent and / or state as specified) within the new location. The listing details who to contact & how to contact the school, including school Website (if available). Size & breakdown of the school population is given as well as dates of inspection and assessment / examination results / destinations. Details of any special provision to meet Academic / Extra-curricular / Special Needs is provided. Admission arrangements, including examinations and interviews are discussed. Comparative costings of short-listed independent schools can be provided detailing both compulsory and optional charges. The availability of Scholarships, Bursaries and other fees reduction schemes are identified.

PROSPECTUS & ENTRY - Prospectus / Admissions Documentation - Schools are requested by us to send Documentation directly to the Assignee.

APPLICATIONS - General Advice - On entry requirements, testing & assessment, etc.

SUPPORT - Telephone Support - Available for two weeks after school entry.

TIMEFRAME
Initial Contact - We aim to contact the assignee within one day of receiving instructions. However, we are not generally available at weekends or after normal business hours and account must be taken of different time zones and the availability of the assignee.
Production of the Report - We aim to complete our research and produce the School Search report within two weeks of the Assignee confirming their detailed requirements for schools. This period may be extended due to the time of year and the complexity of the school search brief.
