An integral part of the personal assessment
that precedes career change is consideration of education and training
needs. This will certainly be necessary if you are planning a change
of specialism or moving up to general management.
Many clients only require a short period of intensive
training to strengthen some aspect of their personal profile; others
are considering an extended period of full-time academic study leading
to a degree-level qualification. In all cases we are able to offer
particular expertise designed to help you complete your studies
in the shortest time and at the least cost.
This is a flexible option providing advice and guidance in the following
areas:
* Discussion of overall education and training needs within the
context of career change
* Help with the choice of suitable academic
or vocational courses and institutions
* Planning the management of the application
and enrolment process
* Researching grants, loans and bursaries and
courses funded by government or other institutions
* Unlimited access to our library of educational
and training literature
* Identification of additional sources of information
and assistance
Education and Training Guidance can be accomplished as an individual
service at a series of hourly consultations or as part of a fixed
package (Search Plan/Executive Search). For those clients seeking
entry to higher education we are able to administer the Centigrade
Careers Questionnaire * which helps to match interests, abilities
and personal qualities with a range of available courses.
* The Centigrade Careers Questionnaire is produced by Cambridge
Occupational Analysts (COA) in conjunction with the Universities
and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS).
